Founder and owner, Don Seal, began working with cancer related hair-loss
in 1992 when 3 of his long-time hair styling clients developed cancer
and needed wigs. He was one of the first wig providers in the
Dallas / Fort Worth area to find monofilament wigs and to understand
their impact on cancer related hair-loss. Don also realized that
wigs were covered by many insurance companies and began developing
relationship with major healthcare providers in 1999. Many of the cancer
treatment centers in the Dallas Fort Worth include Comfort Wigs'
brochures in the chemo information/orientation packets for new patients.
We encourage clients to familiarize themselves with wigs before they
begin treatments. Our wigs are much much better than clients think they
can be.
Don moved to the
current location in late 2002 where Comfort Wigs is not only a full service wig business, but also a
complete post mastectomy provider . We are truly a one-stop shop for

OUR TEAM
Don Seal, founder and co-owner has been a hair stylist for over
30 years and has been working with wigs for medically induced hair
loss for over 12 years. Read some of the
testimonials to get
an understanding of how people feel about Don and his work.
Cheryll Ferantino joined Don in February 2003. Cheryll, our second wig stylist
and certified mastectomy fitter, has been a hair stylist for over 20
years and has informed us that she loves it here so much that she
will never leave.
Angie Prince joined our staff in
2006 to fulfill a longtime desire to work with cancer survivors. She
brought remarkable hairstyling skills developed in her 23 years
experience and is also a certified mastectomy fitter..
At Comfort Wigs, ETC we are keenly aware of the
turmoil that our
hair loss clients go through before and during hair loss. They don't want to lose their hair, they don't want to
purchase a wig and have to wear it for months and months. The
doctors appointments, tests, surgeries, and the 'poking and
prodding' can consume most of your days and almost all your thoughts
and emotions. It is also unnerving that you have to purchase a
product that has a less than glowing stigma attached to it, and you
may feel vulnerable shopping for a product with negative
preconceived ideas attached to it.
Comfort Wigs, ETC was designed as a boutique/salon to create a warm,
personal, and caring atmosphere that reflects our team's concern and
understanding of your situation. And, we do our best to add a little humor to
the mix. |
